These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the AppealAngle website and, when it becomes available, the AppealAngle tool (together, the "Service"), operated by AppealAngle ("we," "us"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

What the Service does

AppealAngle helps you prepare a health-insurance appeal from documents and information you provide, such as your denial letter and plan details. It organizes your materials and helps you produce a draft appeal letter and packet that you can review, edit, and file yourself.

What the Service does not do

It's important that you understand the limits of the Service:

  • AppealAngle does not provide legal advice or medical advice, and it is not a substitute for a licensed attorney, physician, or other professional. If you need advice about your specific situation, consult a qualified professional.
  • AppealAngle does not submit appeals for you.
  • AppealAngle does not contact your insurer, provider, or any third party on your behalf.
  • AppealAngle does not negotiate bills.
  • AppealAngle does not guarantee any outcome. Whether an appeal succeeds is decided entirely by your insurer and any applicable reviewers — not by us.

Your responsibilities

Every draft letter and document the Service helps you create is clearly marked "DRAFT — NOT FOR SUBMISSION." That marking is there for a reason: you are responsible for reviewing, editing, approving, and filing your own appeal. Before you submit anything, you should read it carefully, confirm the facts are accurate, and make sure it meets your insurer's requirements and deadlines. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for meeting any filing deadlines that apply to your case.

Current status: pre-launch

The AppealAngle tool is currently in final development and is not yet operational. At this time, the website only lets you learn about the Service, reserve a spot, and contact us. No appeal is processed and no payment is taken today.

Acceptable use

When you use the Service, you agree not to:

  • use it for any unlawful purpose or to submit false or fraudulent information;
  • use it on behalf of someone else without their authorization;
  • attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems;
  • copy, resell, or commercially exploit the Service without our permission.

Disclaimer of warranties

In plain English: the Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not promise that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any appeal you prepare with it will be accepted. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

Again in plain English: to the fullest extent permitted by law, AppealAngle will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any denied claim, lost coverage, missed deadline, or other loss arising from your use of the Service. Because you review, approve, and file your own appeal, the decisions about what to submit — and the results of those submissions — are yours.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time, especially as the product moves toward launch. When we do, we'll revise the effective date at the top of this page. If you keep using the Service after we post changes, that means you accept the updated Terms.
